yasuもWindows XP、7、Snow Leopard、Lion、Ubuntu 10.04にインストールしているFirefoxとThunderbirdをアップデートしました。
が、が、Ubuntu 10.04のFirefoxとThunderbirdを終了するとクラッシュレポートが表示されるようになりました。

Firefox 4がリリースされましたね。
Mozilla PPAリポジトリを追加してアップデート・マネージャでFirefox 3.6からFirefox 4にアップデートしたいと思います。

これで準備完了です。
あとはアップデート・マネージャを起動すると
Firefox 4がアップデート対象として表示されるのでアップデートします。
これでFirefox 4がインストールできました。
3.6より6倍早い(赤いアレよりさらに早い・・・)Firefox 4が使えるようになるし、今後のアップデートも簡単にできます。
Internet Explorer 9 RC(Release Candidate)がリリースされたので、担当している.NetFramework1.1のシステムの動作確認をしたいと思います。

ちなみにInternet Explorer 9 beta版の時は
JavaScriptでwindow.openしている画面を2回目にopenした際にPage_Loadイベントが動かない
という事象に見舞われましたが、Internet Explorer 9 RC版で確認したら無事2回目のopen時にPage_Loadイベントが動きました。
いや～、あぶないあぶない。
危うく全面的に画面構成の見直しをしないといけないところだった（汗
またまた担当アプリで問題が。
今度はiPadのSafariで、JavaScriptのwindow.openで開いた子画面からwindow.openerで親画面のsubmitをしている箇所でSafariが強制終了しちゃうんです。
原因がわからなかったのですが、Visual Studioでデバッグしている時はSafariが強制終了しなかったのでUserAgentにiPadが含まれていたらウエイト1秒をさせたところ強制終了しなくなりました。
IEやFirefoxはもちろんの事、iPhoneのSafariやAndroidのブラウザではこんな事ないのですが、iPadのSafariが悪いのか、そもそもJavaScriptで子画面から親画面のリロードをしているアプリの設計に問題があるのかってな感じです。
昨日Windows Vistaに.NET Framework 1.1とVisual Studio 2003とInternet Explorer 9 betaをインストールしましたが、今日は意図しない動きをしている画面をデバッグしてみました。
※デバッグできるようになるまで色々と設定しましたが最終的には普通にデバッグできるようになりましたよ
するとJavaScriptでwindow.openしている画面を2回目にopenした際にPage_Loadイベントが動かない事がわかりました。
Internet Explorer 9もbeta版なので、RTM版では対応されているのではないかという淡い期待をしてとりあえず調査は終了です。
RTM版がリリースされたら再度確認してみてRTM版でも不具合がでるようであればまたご報告したいと思います。
今回調査してて思ったことはまだWindows Vistaも捨てられないなってことです。
この調査をする前まではVistaなんてこの世から消えてなくなればいいのにってくらいだったのですが、Vistaは.NET Framework 1.1とInternet Explorer 9をサポートしているのでまさに今回の調査になくてはならないOSになっちゃいました。
仕事場での話ですが、yasuが担当しているシステムをInternet Explorer 9 Betaで動かすとある箇所で意図しない動きをして最後はシステムエラーが発生するのでInternet Explorer 9 Betaの環境でデバッグする為にWindows Vistaに.NET Framework 1.1とVisual Studio 2003とInternet Explorer 9 Betaをインストールしました。

仕事場でもGoogle Chromeを使いたいのですがプロシキの設定がIEと共有で使いにくいので、Google ChromeのプロシキをIEとは切り離しました。
Google Chromeのショートカットのプロパティを開き、リンク先にプロシキの設定を追加します。
下記例はプロシキサーバーのIPアドレスが192.168.0.20、ポートが8080の仮定です。
--proxy-server=http=192.168.0.20:8080;https=192.168.0.20:8080;ftp=192.168.0.20:8080
で、最初ダブルクォーテーションの中に追加したらエラーになって設定できず試行錯誤しましたが、chrome.exeのフルパスがダブるクォーテーションで囲われている場合はその外側にプロシキの設定を追加します。
"C:\Documents and Settings\yasu\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --proxy-server=http=192.168.0.20:8080;https=192.168.0.20:8080;ftp=1192.168.0.20:8080
こんな感じ。
これでIEのプロシキとは切り離した設定が可能になります。
